Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak is considered by many to be the "unbreakable" milestone in baseball's live-ball era Cy Young's career wins (511) and career complete games (749) totals are completely out-of-reach as are Walter Johnson 110 career shutouts and Old Hoss Radbourn's 59 wins in 1884. There are some achievements that may be tied such as 4 HRs in a game or even the back-to-back no-hitters by Johnny Vander Meer but the consistency of a 56-game hitting steak is a feat not even approached by modern players Cal Ripken's consecutive games played streak is impressive and likey "unbreakable" but the great Orioles shortstop only had to play in those games to extend his streak, not get a hit. In the entire history of baseball, there have been only 10 hitting streaks that eclipsed 35 games (and only 3 of these streaks have occurred in the past 50 years) and none of these streaks even reached 75% of The Streak.
For those not familiar with the players "The Streak" - A complete autograph collection of the (43) pitchers and Joe DiMaggio routinely sells for $3,000+. 2019 HA The Streak delivers (72) different players autographs including Joe's New York teammates, pitchers who yielded hits the Cleveland players who played key roles in breaking up "The Streak" and Joe's chief rival in 1941 - Ted Williams.
