Trading Card Sorter and Lister

Established in 2002, Steel City Collectibles is an industry-leading online retailer of trading cards and sports memorabilia located in McKeesport, PA. We are looking for an experienced trading card enthusiast to organize our current and incoming single trading card inventory as well as create product listings for single trading cards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Sort trading cards by player/team and ship them to our customers

· Assist our Gold Rush development team with packaging completed repack projects

· Unload incoming shipments of cards and organize them by category

· Add trading cards to stock using our proprietary inventory management system

· List trading cards for sale across multiple online markets

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Previous experience selling trading cards on eBay and other online markets

· Familiarity with trading cards, graded cards, brands within the hobby, and athletes

· Experience with Photoshop or similar photo editing software is preferred

· Must possess good organizational skills with strong attention to details

· Ability to delegate and prioritize multiple tasks

· Motivation to excel and grow with our company

· Must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check

Sports Card Breaker/Live Seller

Established in 2002, Steel City Collectibles is an industry-leading online retailer of trading cards and sports memorabilia based in the Pittsburgh area. We are looking for an outgoing and highly motivated individual to livestream opening boxes of trading cards. 

In this role, you'll work at either our retail store in White Oak, PA, or at our warehouse in Versailles, PA. 

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. 

Previous experience selling on WhatNot, TikTok, or Fanatics Live is mandatory for this position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• List group breaks for sale through our proprietary inventory management system 

• Process customer orders for live breaks 

• Open boxes of trading cards live on camera 

• Entertain and engage with viewers while breaking 

• Interact with customers in real-time through conversations and online messaging 

• Promote SCC Live Breaks on multiple social media platforms 

• Sort, package, and ship orders 

• Respond to customer questions and assist with resolving Help Desk support tickets 

• Manage inventory of products and supplies used for breaks 

• Keep up with current trading card releases and trends in the online breaking community 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Sports trading card knowledge is mandatory for this position 

• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic 

• Must have an outgoing, enthusiastic personality and be comfortable with being on camera 

• Maintain a positive attitude during live streams 

• Knowledge of various sports (teams, players, news, and trends) is highly preferred 

• Previous experience with sports cards and collectibles is a plus 

• Familiarity with live streaming platforms 

• Basic understanding of live streaming equipment, including streaming software, web cameras, and microphones 

• Experience creating graphics and minor photo editing is a plus 

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills 

• Must possess good organizational skills with strong attention to details 

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude 
• Must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check
• Previous experience selling on WhatNot, TikTok, or Fanatics Live is mandatory for this position

Shipper and Sorter for Online Breaks

Established in 2002, Steel City Collectibles is an industry-leading online wholesaler of trading cards and sports collectibles based in the Pittsburgh area. We are looking for a new team member to assist our live break department with sorting and shipping orders. In this position, you will work at our fulfilment center in McKeesport. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sort trading cards by teams, divisions, serial numbers or other attributes 
• Organize breaks from multiple customers
• Package orders with care for secure shipping 
• Ship packages through UPS and USPS 
• Manage inventory of supplies used for packing breaks
• Help keep our break rooms organized and clean 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Basic internet and computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Need to possess good organizational skills with strong attention to details 
• Ability to delegate and prioritize multiple tasks
• Must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check
