Product Description

Collecting the 2026-27 NBA season starts here! The next generation of the NBA has arrived, and the first chase starts with 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball.

Flagship returns with a loaded 300-card Base Set headlined by one of the deepest rookie classes in recent memory. Look for the first official rookie cards of AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson, Cameron Boozer, Caleb Wilson, Keaton Wagler, and more, alongside the biggest stars in basketball, including the first LeBron James Sixers and Giannis Antetokounmpo Heat cards. The Base Set goes even deeper with short-printed Number Variations, Team Variations, Golden Mirror Image Variations, Wood Variations and, new for 2026-27, Clear Variations.

A refreshed lineup of inserts celebrates the players and plays that define the league. Poster Factory showcases basketball’s most explosive dunkers, while Drivers puts the spotlight on the game’s elite slashers. The iconic 1981-82 Topps Basketball design also returns, bringing back its unmistakable burst design for a new generation of stars and rookies, and with autograph variations to look out for.

This year’s super short prints turn up the heat, headlined by the first-ever Gold 1/1 All Kings cards in Topps Basketball. Look for championship contenders in Quest for the Crown, and feel the game with Bounce, featuring innovative card technology designed to mimic the texture of a real basketball.

The hits keep coming with game-used memorabilia from the league’s biggest names. Flagship Real One Relics, Own the Game, Roundball Remnants and more feature stars including Stephen Curry, Luka Dončić, Victor Wembanyama and Anthony Edwards. And no Flagship release would be complete without ink. Flagship Real One Autographs, Rookie Photo Shoot Autographs, New Applicants, Level Up Signatures and more deliver signatures from top rookies, veterans and legends, from LeBron James and Jalen Brunson to Nikola Jokić and beyond.

Every season has a beginning. Every collection starts somewhere. The next chapter of basketball collecting begins with 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball. The iconic brand brings together the sport's biggest stars, legendary players, and most exciting rookies in a new era of collecting. It offers a wide range of designs, inserts, autographs, and relics. Known for iconic rookie cards and memorable sets, Topps Basketball is one of the most anticipated releases of the season, appealing to collectors of all styles.

Rookie collecting is the practice of focusing on collecting rookie cards, typically the first officially licensed cards of a player, released during their debut season. Rookie cards are often seen as the most desirable and valuable cards for a player, especially if that player goes on to have a successful career. Rookie collectors may target a single player, a draft class, or rookies across a sport. These cards are usually marked with an “RC” logo in modern sets, but older rookies may not have any special label.

While most chase prospects in this set, collectors have a great chance at completing a basic rainbow of prospects, rookies, and veteran players from the set. For collectors who thrive on rarity and artistic design, chasing inserts offers the thrill of collecting unique cards that showcase a mixture of the most sought-after prospects, rookies, stars, and legends.

Collecting autographs means focusing on cards that feature a real signature from the player or personality. Called autograph cards or autos, they’re often among the most sought-after hits in modern products. Collectors may focus on specific players, teams, sports, or types of auto cards, such as rookies, Hall of Famers, or dual-signed auto cards. These cards are typically short-printed and harder to pull from packs, which makes them more desirable. Some collectors view autographs as long-term investments, especially rookie autos or autographs of players with rising careers. Graded autograph cards can hold or increase in value over time. You can also collect relic cards, cards that contain a piece of memorabilia embedded in the card itself, from a swatch of fabric from a player’s jersey to a piece of game-used basketball. There are Dual and Triple Relic cards, which include more than one piece of memorabilia on a single card.
