2026-27 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey Hobby Box

The most widely-collected Base Set in hockey includes the most anticipated and popular rookie cards of the season!

Series 2 sports the second 250 cards of the 2026-27 Upper Deck Base Set. It includes 198 veteran cards, 49 Young Guns cards, and three checklist cards. The iconic Young Guns are the season’s most anticipated and popular rookie cards, and the Series 2 checklist boasts multiple high-end rookies! Collect six Young Guns cards per box on average!  

The parallel lineup is loaded with collector favorites and big chase cards! It is headlined by the longtime classics, including UD Exclusives (numbered to 100), High Gloss (numbered to 10), and Clear Cut, as well as the stunning and wildly popular Outburst parallels! Each box will contain, on average, one Outburst Silver Parallel card, and everyone will be on the hunt for the rarer Outburst Red (numbered to 25) and one-of-one Outburst Gold. There are Deluxe (numbered to 250) parallels to chase too!

As longtime Upper Deck Hockey collectors know, there are always some outstanding Base Set Variation sets to collect, highlighted by the long-running and popular Snow Spray Auto variation and the White House Visit variation!

UD Canvas, a longtime favorite, features a collection of the League’s top stars along with the best of the Young Guns (6 UD Canvas Rookies per case on average). Series 2 contains the second 150 cards of this intra-series set. Collect four UD Canvas cards per box on average, and keep an eye out for Black & White Parallels as well as the one-of-one Printing Plates that were used to make the UD Canvas and UD Canvas Young Guns cards!

The Population Count acetate insert is back and with a new look! There are seven different print runs (numbered to 1000, 500, 100, 50, 25, 10, and 1) of this popular intra-series set mimicking slabbed cards and featuring top-tier stars and rookies. Everyone will be chasing these cards, especially the lower-print run versions! The final 30 cards of this set will be available in Series 2!

The Dazzlers set also returns for another season! These eye-popping cards boast a new design for the 2026-27 season and come in Blue, Pink, and Gold versions! This is a 150-card intra-series set, and Series 2 sports the second 50 cards. The checklist consists of mostly star veterans, but there are a couple rookies sprinkled in! Look for a larger number of rookies in Series 2 and following in Extended Series. Collect on average one Blue version per box and one Pink version per case, and if you’re lucky, you’ll pull a much, much rarer Gold version!

The perennial-favorite UD Portraits set returns for its third season on foilboard and with a new look mimicking movie posters! Series 2 contains the final 30 cards of this intra-series set and the checklist features veteran stars and top rookies. Complete your 2026-27 UD Portraits set with Series 2. Keep an eye out for Speckle parallels! 

The Sizzle Reel foilboard set commemorating top highlight reel plays from the 2025-26 season is back! On the back of each card featuring a star player is a QR code that leads you to the video of the highlight reel play. Collect the final 35 cards of this intra-series set and look for Speckle parallels!

Returning to Series 2 in style is the flashy Fluorescence insert! This set dons a 50 subject composed solely of rookies! Look for various numbered parallels including the Magenta parallel (numbered to 5)!

The latest edition of Series 2 sports an impressive lineup of new insert sets sure to please everyone, from the casual fan to the avid collector:

• NHL Firsts: This set commemorates marquee moments from 20 top rookies. Look for these photo driven cards featuring the 1st game, goal or point from rookies in the 2026-27 class!
• Crease Police: Not on their watch! This checklist highlights the top defensemen who make sure no one gets close to their netminder!

Both sets, which will only be available in Series 2, are printed on foilboard. There are also Speckle parallels to collect

• In your Area: When these stars come to town, you won’t want to miss them! This stunning new insert features a checklist of the best players in the NHL over a city skyline on a stunning black substrate. These cards will be highly sought after as an anchor in any collection!
  The cards from these two sets boast the same rarity and build as the Bootleg cards!
• Stencils: This new stylish set with a deep, colorful parallel lineup is unlike any set you’ve seen before! There is no ink on the front of these cards! Each card front just features a stencil-generated shoulder-up player image, the player’s last name and the Upper Deck logo - all presented in foil only! The final 100 cards of this intra-series set will feature veteran stars and top rookies, and there are at least two players from every team.

Collect four of these cards per box, on average, and search for Red (numbered to 399), Yellow (numbered to 199), Green (numbered to 99), Blue (numbered to 50), and Purple (numbered to 25) parallels! 

In each case, look for an average of six UD Canvas Young Guns, four Base Set Clear Cut Parallels (three Veterans, one Young Gun Rookie), four UD Canvas Black & White Parallel Cards (three Veterans, one Young Gun Rookie), and four Fluorescence Red cards on average.
